Daniel Turko/2-14-06/3-5..... Principles of Ethics and You Part 2

I. I did found out information on what I was wondering about concerning the Danish cartoons. Those cartoons were published all the way back in October. It seems weird and sketchy that people would just begin reacting to the cartoons.

II. In class today we spent most of our time going over the previous night's homework. We whiteboarded all the answers from the Principles of Ethics and You worksheet. The topics that we went over today were communities and character growth. We discussed exactly what a community was in our opinion, and how the community is run. Also, we talked about values involved in communities. Throughout the class we went into an in-depth lesson discussing what types of communities you will encounter, and which communities you will become a part of; whether it be school, work, friends, family, etc........

III. Today, I learned that as you get older your community will constantly change. For example, you may not always be involved with your college buddies forever.

IV. After today's lesson I was pondering on an idea involving communities. I began to wonder if there are actually people whos job it is to study various communties.

V. When it comes to communities, I have a pretty strong opinion on what one is. I believe a community is a certain group of people that share the same values, and work toghether to achieve common goals.
